Ophthalmic AssistantHealthCare Support is actively seeking an Ophthalmic Assistantto fill an opening with a prestigious Healthcare company in the Okatie, SC area!Daily Responsibilities for Ophthalmic Assistant
  • Flexible in work assignments and schedules, committed to delivering outstanding patient care
  • Responsibilities include assisting in clinic operations, such as administering injections, minor procedures, chart documentation, and surgery preparation
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced clinic environment, ensuring accuracy and completeness of patient records
Required Qualifications for Ophthalmic Assistant
  • A high school graduate or GED
  • Certified Ophthalmic Assistant or willingness to get certified
  • 6 months to a year of experience as a medical assistant or medical front office admin
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
Preferred Qualifications for Ophthalmic Assistant
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in MDI/ISP/NextTech EHR
  • Patient Intake System, Phreesia
